Remember, these tools do not replace your brain. Every single shot in golf is different from all the other shots you have made or will ever make. Wind, humidity, rain, course maintenance, your mood, the people you play with, the depth of the grass, the type of sand (or gravel) in the bunkers, all play a part in deciding which club to use and how long a backswing to use.
